4) Lake Te Anau:

5) Te Anau Wildlife Park:
Visit Te Anau wildlife Park, where you find friendly kaka, native New Zealand birds, kereru(native pigeon), pukeko (blue flamingo), tui, kea, kakariki, takahe and weka. Te Anau Wildlife Centre run by New Zealand’s Department of Conservation and takes special care of rare, endangered or injured birds.

Come and visit Fiordland Penguins which has brownish red eyes, pinkish-white legs and blackish brown behind and on the soles. They can be seen on landing beaches during July-December. Penguin populations can be considerably in range and numbers since human arrival.
